它的第一个字母T表示有一个涡轮增压器（Turbo charger）、第二个字母S表示有一个机械增压器（Super charger）、第三个字母I表示是燃油缸内直喷（Injection)
发动机的排量就是指发动机的行程容积，它的计算方法是气缸断面积乘以行程，一般用毫升或升做计量单位。这指的是单缸发动机，对于多缸机来说，还应把每缸的排量乘以气缸数，才是该发动机的排量值。

另解：Tsi是涡轮增压+缸内直喷技术。

1.8TSI并没有机械增压器。还有我们一般不说发动机的单缸排量，我们说的排量都是发动机的总排量。

Anyway, just wanted to add my two cents. As far as I understood, the TSI, TDI FSI, TFSI and CSI acronyms (OK maybe not CSI) are not all really english acronyms.

TSI used to mean dual charged, but no longer so. Like with quattro/ 4Motion, it has become a VW marketing term that, unfortunately, hides technical aspects.

Audi retains TSI for the dual-charged engines. On the other hand, the new, completely revised 1.8 and 2.0 direct-injected and turbo-charged engines are now called TSI by VW.

TSI, TDI FSI, TFSI并不是英文而是德文的缩写。TSI曾经用来表述双增压（涡轮和机械增压）发动机。像quattro和4Motion一样，TSI逐渐变成了半市场宣传术语，而并不纯粹表述发动机使用技术。奥迪保留了TSI双增压（涡轮和机械增压）的意义，而大众将1.8和2.0的直喷、涡轮增压发动机称为TSI。
